Homebake Cinema Pavilion - 05 December, 2009

Venue: The Pavilion

This is the second year in a row Innovative have been on board to provide vision, lighting and audio for the Homebake Cinema Pavilion.

Produced by Blue Tongue Films, Homebake Cinema Pavilion showcases up and coming Australian and New Zealand filmmaking talents.

"We like to think we're doing our bit for the Australian film industry and, in particular, for those on the up and up. Over the years we've had short films from filmmakers who have gone on to establish themselves as prominent and highly successful feature film directors, both here and overseas" says Kieran Darcy-Smith, the main man behind the Homebake Cinema Pavilion and co-founder of Blue Tongue Films.

Innovative supplied projection for the film festival along with 120m of draping to completely black out the room to achieve the true cinema experience. A small band set up for acoustic duo Michael Dorman and Abbe May was also used. Their set included "In Spite of Ourselves" from the Prime Mover soundtrack.

The Homebake-goers who came along enjoyed a fine selection of short films in the air-conditioned Pavilion before having to brave the crowd and heat of the Domain!
