The BRW and AMP Capital Shopping Centres Australian Retailer of the Year Awards was held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney where the pinnacle of retailing gathered at the annual gala dinner.
This year’s finalists were diverse, with a mixture of emerging businesses and some really great traditional businesses that have embraced new strategies and ways to do business. As a retailer, it was a great opportunity to see what others are doing. It made me proud to be an Australian retailer.
- Judge and retailer, Lorna Jane Clarkson
Innovative Production Services had the pleasure of managing the technical components on the night.
Question: What do you supply for an exciting and dynamic backdrop for the entire event?
Answer: Two 30ft screens of blended projection utilizing Barco FullHD projectors and Coolux processing combined with Innovative custom content for the highest resolution and detail possible.
We created the motion graphics in-house to suit the marketing material with the aim of keeping a solid brand presence and consistent styling throughout the lead up to and execution of the event.
Martin MAC auras with their large zoom ratio bathed the entire room in light. The band stage acted as the room heater, with 14000 watts of DMX controlled blinders to “bring back the rock look” for the iconic performer Diesel!
Two separate sound systems were implemented using an A&H iLive digital mixing system and Lab Gruppen PLM amplifiers with Lake processing. This allowed us to deliver crystal clear distributed audio for the awards and an impressive band experience with plenty of thump!
