About the Event:

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is a celebration of Australian culture, from rural traditions to modern day lifestyles. Enjoy twelve days of non-stop entertainment, animal experiences and competitions, carnival rides and games, show bags, activities and more.

The Giants Stadium, which holds 23,500 people, is where all the large-scale entertainment happens; from the Grand Parade of all the livestock to wild rodeos and even motocross bikes that jump 15m in the air! 4K ONE was at the center of all this action with 7 cameras all running back to the truck over SMPTE and also our Reidel Micron UHD system. From there we switched in live graphics, instant replays and real-time scoring with feeds going to the stadium LED screens and also live streamed to YouTube.

Key highlights of Event:

The incredible team of technical and creative wizards produced and executed 2 weeks of directing, switching, streaming, roaming, running, editing, shooting, operating, engineering and more!

It was a challenging yet rewarding experience for everyone involved and the truck with many long days but even at the end there were still smiles all round!
